February 2009. The Israeli attack on Gaza has just ended, leaving behind a trail of blood, ruins, and lies. Nine Italian actresses and actors lend their voices to the words of a group of Palestinian, Israeli and European intellectuals. In the deafening and knowing silence of the International media, they restore the truth of facts, asking not for generous solidarity, but for severe responsibility. A tracking shot backwards, from January 2009 to October 1956, in the devastated landscape of a patch of the occupied Palestine. A travel back in time in the company of writers such as Mahmud Darwish, John Berger, Gideon Levy and Ghassan Kanafani.
